hot n fit mamas club

My husband is hot. Not just a normal hot, but former Army Ranger (with 1st Ranger Battalion)kicking in doors and blowing stuff up hot.

Now, I realize that most people don’t even know what a Ranger is or does, but they’re special. And my husband, is obviously to me, the most special.

I met my husband when he came to visit his ex-girlfriend whom I lived with my junior year of college. I didn’t want to love him. In fact, I thought he was a giant jerk. (I wasn’t wrong.) He was going to be deploying shortly after I met him and I did everything I could think of to make him leave me alone. But he was persistent!

Before he left, he wanted to make it official but I didn’t see myself dating someone in the military…I told him I’d write him and send him care packages as a friend.

Can you tell me how it went from that to marriage in less than five months? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I’m sure it was a combination of things…he rode a fast motorcycle, he was in special operations, wore that sexy tan beret, had confidence like I’ve never seen, amazing muscles, ridiculously strong, and willing to put his life on the line for this great nation. (I never feel safer than when I’m with my husband.)

I also knew he needed someone to love him. It should be me. It should definitely be me.๐Ÿ˜‚

After an elopement, 11+ deployments, three kids, four duty stations, a nearing retirement, multiple surgeries, a broken body that really shouldn’t move anymore but does (his, not mine), hundreds of letters and phone calls, too my TDYs to count, and the last 15 years of marriage I’d say we’ve been through a lot, but he will always be a BAMF and a stud to me.

In an age where masculinity seems to be growing unpopular and men refuse to be men, I’m grateful for this man who embodies all thing masculine. While he may no longer be in Ranger Battalion or even infantry, he still embodies all the characteristics of his former life. He loves it…and he’s mine…and I love him.

Give me my manly man all day every day.
